Half Marathon Training Class Begins September 6, 2009

Do you need a training goal? How about joining a group of runners to train for the Philadelphia Half Marathon? Some runners believe it’s the perfect distance. The half marathon is long enough to be a serious challenge yet doesn’t require the level of training or time commitment necessary for a full marathon. This class will accommodate all experience levels – from the beginner runner who runs a couple miles but has never raced, to the experienced racer.

The Course Includes:

  • 12 week training program with personal coach, begins September 6th with a 4-mile run
  • Sunday 8:00 AM group runs (long run of the week) from Final Results or on local trails
  • Optional Thursday evening runs (time and place determined with the group)
  • Weekly email with training reminders and tips
  • Group support
  • Cost: $129 for Final Results Members, $149 for non-members
  • $30 Discount for marathon class alumni
  • Race registration and travel not included
  • Minimum number of class members needed to hold the class – 10 signed up by September 4th
